First, we start with the Tierra Tempranillo Crianza 2021, which has earned praise from wine expert Tim Atkin: “.. this is juicy, sappy and bouncy with classic Tempranillo flavours of plum, raspberry and strawberry and lots of energy, freshness and acidity”. 

The Rosario Vera 2018 is described by Decantalo as “an eloquent red wine, suffused with scents of red and black fruit, herbaceous undertones, and hints of cocoa. On the palate, it is flavorsome, delightful, and persistent…”

Tierra Blanco 2023 is a crisp and balanced medium intensity white wine blend of Viura, Garnacha blanca and Malvasia grapes, with vanilla and smoky notes, white fruit and yellow plum aromas, peach and spices, and the freshness from Bodega Tierra’s vineyards proximity to the Cantabrian mountains.

Last is a well-known Spanish favourite, from internationally renowned bodega Marques de Riscal, de Marques de Riscal Reserva – 2019 vintage. With aromas of spices and leather as well as fruit, cocoa, hints of toasted oak, delicate tannins, and a long, balsamic finish this expressive, structured and silky Rioja classic has earned 93 points from wine expert James Suckling.
