Eric Vökel Madrid Suites is an incredible and impressive refurbished property, protected because of its historical importance, with 17 apartments, each one personally designed and decorated by Eric, in a style that is a unique mix of functionality and the beauty of Nordic Design with all the creativity and spontaneity of Mediterranean design.

Inspired at first by the architecture, culture and Mediterranean colours of Barcelona, Danish architect and designer Eric Vökel began his project of boutique apartments in this major Spanish city, followed by Madrid, Amsterdam, Hamburg and now his birth-place Copenhagen.

He has travelled around the five continents and has always been especially attracted to big cities, their streets, their people, and their culture. That’s why he wants his guests to enjoy their trips in exactly the same passionate way.

Located right in the heart of the Malasaña district, the Eric Vökel Madrid Suites give guests the chance to experience and enjoy the most authentic and characteristic aspects of Madrid.

On top of this, the building is just 10 minutes’ walking distance from Puerta del Sol, from Plaza de España, and the Prado Museum, so there’s just one thing left for guests to ask for: “una caña y una tapa” which is to say, a beer and an appetizer.
