As you enter, you find yourself in the middle of a spectacular lush jungle, designed by the ubiquitous Lázaro Rosa-Violán, whose works in Barcelona include El Nacional and Boca Grande. This gastronomic experience takes you from Brazil to Japan, via Argentina, India, Peru and China. Amazónico also hosts a jazz club in the basement. Be warned there is a substantial waiting list and it isn’t the cheapest but there is little doubt, this is currently the place to see and be seen in Madrid.
